Another Clear Sign Gun Control Does Not Work

At least 92 dead in Norway shooting, bomb attack

One nut case. Armed despite some of the world's strictest gun control laws, opens fire. 92 dead. So far.

Horrible tragedy. No way to prevent something like this, so what do you do. You pray. And, you hope that somehow, somewhere, some liberals finally get it through their thick skulls that gun control only keeps guns out of the hands of law abiding citizens, and that psychos and criminals will always get them somehow. Would having access to weapons have saved all of these people? Most likely not, but I would say it's a near certainty that the body count would be far less than the 92 it is at this point. And maybe the asshole who did the shooting would be in hell rather than sitting in a nice, warm cell right now.

The other certainty of this is that the MSM will be blame it on conservatives in some manner. "Hate speech" most likely, but they'll throw in something about the Tea Party, talk radio, Sarah Palin, and some other stuff as well. One thing about liberals is that they don't ever give up on a bad idea, and they have no shame when it comes to using a horrific event to further their agenda.  (Actually, that's two things, but you get my point.)

My understanding, at this time, (Not confirmed) is that the max sentence this psycho can get in good old progressive, socialist Norway is 21 years. For 92 dead people.

I have nothing to add on this one. The insanity speaks for itself.

My prayers go out to the families of the fallen.

Left Starts Early Blaming Conservatives

I've seen it,and shocking doesn't even come close to it.What is known,is this lunatic said it was a 'cruel, but necessary act against Islamization.'Honestly,it's a sick, cruel world. We are never going to get rid of the hatred, that a lot of people have for each other, and will murder innocent people, using religion as an excuse. This tosser in Norway, and like a lot of other morons, think just because one individual does things wrong, they'll automatically think everybody is like that. This is a bad failing.Over here in the UK,I still remember the rampant gun shootings at Hungerford and Dunblane. Both these incidents really shocked everybody, but Dunblane still makes me cry, when so many children were ruthlessly murdered.Again, its a sick, cruel world.

Whatever his beef against... whatever, killing a bunch of innocent people had no chance of advancing his "cause(s)". This was clearly the act of a madman.

The world is what we make of it. Once Eve gave that apple to Adam, paradise was lost for us here on Earth. God gave it to us, and we gave it right back.

However, that doesn't mean we have to give in to evil. I absolutely believe there are still a lot more good people out there than bad, it's just that bad usually has better publicists.

I fully agree. It is paramount, and I still firmly believe it,that there are more decent people, than the bad ones. They will never win,and we will never stop fighting them,to protect innocent lives.

Wow. You accuse the Left of having no shame about using tragedies such as these to further their political agenda while simultanously using it to further your own pro-gun agenda. Truly idiotic and hypocritical.

LOL... I have a "pro gun" agenda?

Anyway, the difference is, everything I've said is accurate and logical. I have no problem with the gun controllers speaking as long as they abide by those rules, but they take an event like Columbine and turn that into a rant for more gun control, even though no amount of GC would have stopped that event from happening.

Also, this is about supporting our rights under our Constitution as a whole. Not just the 2nd Amendment.

A gun is as good or bad as the person holding it.

Marc - Exactly.
